I have been lucky enough to stay in my salon for the last 1.5 years since it was sold to developers. I have held on as long as I can! I have learned so much through this exhausting process! I have had so much support and resources pulled together from my clientele! Thank you so much!!! After 8.5 years of business I will be leaving my shop on 2/9 and starting work at Via Salon! Changes Can Be Good

I (Jamie) encourage my clients to make changes with their hair every once in a while! It's good for you! I also chat and listen to life changes with my clients.  Well this year was a year full of changes for me.  I appreciate all my clients that took the time to encourage and listen to me about my life changes!  As many of you know, this past summer the building I lease for La Petite Salon was sold.  We've all been watching West Seattle grow and change over the last couple years, some good, some not to our liking.  Im not exactly sure where this change will lead me, but I won't leave West Seattle, and I won't stop doing hair. Promise!  I am currently in a lease until August 2015 and won't be going anywhere!  I am currently taking new clients as always and continuing to grow in my business!   Thank you all for your support!!!  Kelly no longer leases a chair at La Petite Salon.  Her sister opened a spa called Flourish Beauty and you can contact her there!  I had a great 2.5 years working with her and wish Kelly, her Sister and the staff at Flourish the best of luck! 


I also recently changed the decor of the salon.  Back in March my Dad and I renovated the space.  With the help of Heidi Fahy of Idieh Studio and Ann Wolf of A Wolf Designs we have new paint and new decor! It has been such an uplift in the space.  After 7 years of business in the same location it was time for a new look!!  



Speaking of changes! Where does the summer go?

~I hope everyone has been enjoying their summer!  I definitely have!  Work is going great and my daughter and I have taken some much needed time off together!  I had all intentions of sitting down with this blog and adding lots of new information to it as all these changes have been happening, but I have realized how busy business owners are, especially when doing clients too!   The last 7 months have flown by, and I have enjoyed having Kelly and all her clients in the salon!  La Petite Salon has been a busy busy place these days!   I just wanted to give a quick update and let everyone know things are well and I am hoping to keep in touch a little better with the world!  My intentions are to post great hair articles, before and after pictures, update the page every now and again and get some feedback on some new changes and salon updates coming soon!  Enjoy the last month of sun!!!  See you all soon!!!

2012 Is going to be a great year!

I AM SO EXCITED AND DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN!  I have started off 2012 with a bang!!!  Just to give you all an idea but keep you wanting more~  I am now the proud business owner of La Petite Salon.  As most of you know, Calista and Myself have owned La Petite Salon for the last 4.5 years.  We have loved every bit of working together, but to make good business decisions, we have parted ways.  Calista can be found at the Styling Studio and reached at 206.550.5863  to schedule an appointment with her.  Calista decided that it was better for her home life as well as for her clients if she could focus on both of them more and less on the behind the scenes business stuff.  I now have a full-time stylist leasing a chair at La Petite Salon, Kelly Stubberfield.    I have enjoyed every bit of the last 4 weeks working with Kelly and look forward to many more!    There is more coming to the website!  Keep and eye out for new bios, specials, products and trends!
